Dinings SW3 x The Oarsman Marlow
Dinings SW3 x The Oarsman, Marlow
From Thursday 23 until Saturday 25 April, Masaki Sugisaki will be hosting a weekend residency at The Oarsman in Marlow. The bistropub and wine bar is known for its strong environmental ethos and emphasis on serving food produced through regenerative agriculture.
Taking over the the Oarsman's ‘Room Upstairs’ - the bistropub’s intimate first floor dining space formerly home to Simon Bonwick’s The Troublesome Lodger - the three-day collaboration brings Dinings SW3’s distinctive Japanese cooking style to the Thames-side town for the very first time. Guests will be seated on a single shared dining table, where they will be presented with a multi-course omakase menu showcasing Executive Chef Masaki Sugisaki’s signature style.
The menu will include dishes such as Koji cured venison tartare, Charred hand-dived scallops and a sushi course, with many plates shaped by Masaki’s commitment to sustainability and his 'gill-to-tail' philosophy, ensuring thoughtful use of the whole catch.
Dinings SW3 residency at The Oarsman will run on Thursday, April 23rd (dinner), Friday, April 24th (lunch & dinner) and Saturday, April 25th (lunch & dinner). The lunch sitting will feature a slightly shorter menu priced at £75 or at dinner the full menu will be priced at £95.
Each experience will begin with a welcome cocktail with optional drinks pairings (£40 at lunch, £60 at dinner) to showcase carefully selected wines and sakes to complement the menus.
Additional wine flights and wine bottles can be ordered on the day of the event, when payment will be accepted in cash only.
